According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport via Sport Witness, Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is seriously considering signing Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
Conte signed Giroud from Arsenal during his time as Chelsea boss and the report claims Inter Milan are seriously considering signing the France international since he has been previously managed by Conte.
Gazzetta dello Sport also claim Chelsea would demand a transfer fee of around €6-7m for the veteran goalscorer, and Inter Milan hope to convince Giroud with a contract of at least 18 months.
Giroud is keen on leaving Chelsea in January after failing to get enough game time at the club this season under Frank Lampard.
Giroud wants to be part of the France squad for Euro 2020 and he is eager to get more game time to convince France boss Didier Deschamps to include him in his Euro 2020 squad.
