Michy Batshauyi signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2016 – a £33m signing from Marseille.

Despite his huge transfer fee, Batshuayi has never really made the cut at Chelsea and has been loaned out three times.

However, the Belgium international is beginning to enjoy a fresh lease of life at the club under Frank Lampard albeit as an impact player.

Batshuayi is yet to start a game in the Premier League or Champions League this season, but he has made a telling contribution whenever he’s called up from the bench.

With five goals in 11 games this season and a good goal per minute ratio, former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair has praised Batshuayi for his impact this season.

“He needs time just like everyone else at the football club,” he said.

“His goals speak louder than anything. If he continues to come on in games when needed and get vital goals, then I can’t see a problem.

“I’m a Chelsea fan myself and I appreciate his input this season and whenever he’s been called upon at Chelsea.

“You’ve got to remember he’s still a relatively young player as well.

“His goals per minute this season – and throughout his career – is phenomenal.

“He scores goals at a quicker rate than some other top players.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
