Eden Hazard endeared himself to the Chelsea fans after seven years at Stamford Bridge where he impressed season after season for the Blues.
However, he left at the end of last season to pursue a dream move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
While on international duty with Belgium, Hazard admitted that he follows Chelsea all the time and is pleased that the club is doing well.
Asked if he thought the ban had been a blessing in disguise, Hazard told The Metro: “I don’t know. Maybe with two or three more players they would [be] first!
“When I saw them play it’s nice, they all play together. I still have good friends there. I follow them all the time. They are winning at the moment so I’m just happy for them.”
Meanwhile, a Chelsea fan with the twitter handle CFCPys has admitted that he misses Hazard, calling the former Blue a Chelsea legend.
“I miss this guy. Chelsea legend,” he wrote on twitter.
