Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is set to leave Stamford Bridge in January and the Blues have reportedly found a replacement for the 33 year old striker.
According to Sky Sports via Metro, Chelsea are tracking CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov and are preparing a January bid for the 21 year old striker.
Chalov scored 15 league goals for CSKA last season and has netted five times in 16 matches this campaign.
The Blues are currently under a transfer ban and will find out next month if our appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport is successful.
Premier League side Crystal Palace have also shown interest in the 21 year old striker in recent months and reportedly submitted a bid of £23million for Chalov on deadline day which was turned down.
Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal have all also been linked with the Russian, but their interest appears to have cooled, with Chelsea now leading the race for his signature.
