It was a good win for Frank Lampard’s side at Stamford Bridge today as the Blues defeated Crystal Palace 2-0 to move up to second in the Premier League table.

After a goalless first-half, Tammy Abraham put Chelsea ahead with a calm finish seven minutes after the restart before Christian Pulisic put in the second on the 79th minute.

Chelsea have now moved up to second in the league, a point above Manchester City and five points behind table toppers Liverpool, pedning Sunday’s game between Liverpool and Manchester and also today’s Leicester City vs Arsenal game. Chelsea are in amazing form as the Blues have won six league games in a row – the last time the Blues achieved this feat was in 2017 as the Blues marched to the title under Antonio Conte.

Frank Lampard is having an awesome time as Chelsea manager and deservedly won the Premier League Manager of the Month for October. Lampard dodged the curse of winning this award by winning his next game and his team kept a clean sheet as well.
