Chelsea winger Willian has been urged by his former manager Mircea Lucescu to leave the club for Juventus.
Lucescu managed Willian at Shakhtar Donetsk and he thinks the Brazilian’s talent would be best suited at Juventus.
Willian’s contract expires at the end of the season and Juventus are reportedly interested in signing him as a free agent.
“For Willian, who is at the end of his contract with Chelsea, a new experience would be good after so many years in London and Juve would be ideal,” Lucescu told Tuttosport.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard wants Willian to stay beyond the end of the season and has urged the board to extend the Brazilian’s contract.
“I can’t get involved in the money, that’s up to the club, but I think everyone sees I’m relying on him and I love him at this football club,” Lampard said.
