According to Daily Express, Chelsea will go head-to-head with Barcelona over the potential transfer of £70million-rated Reinier if the transfer ban is lifted.

Reinier is a highly rated attacking midfielder who plays for Flamengo in Brazil.

The Chelsea board are reportedly confident the transfer ban will be lifted by the Court of Arbitration for Sport later this month.

Reinier is high on Chelsea’s list and he is expected to provide competition for Chelsea’s attacking line, which boasts Callum Hudson-Odoi, Christian Pulisic, Willian, Pedro and Tammy Abraham.

The 17-year-old has scored four times in 12 appearances for Flamengo this season and is also wanted by Manchester City and Arsenal.
