Chelsea travel to Vicarage Road to face Watford this evening, and Anthony Taylor will be the centre referee in charge of the clash.
The linesmen for the game are Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, and David Coote has been appointed as the fourth official. Mike Dean will be in charge of VAR, with Stephen Child as his assistant.
Chelsea fans won’t be pleased with the results the team has gotten under Taylor as his first game he officiated against Chelsea this season was a 4-0 defeat against Manchester United in our first match of the season.
In short, Chelsea have failed to win any game with Taylor in charge since last season, and the Blues have been unable to even score in those games.
A 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on 19th of January at the Emirates Stadium, followed by a 2-0 defeat to Everton at the Goodison Park and a goalless draw against Leicester City.
Chelsea fans will be praying for better fortune this time around with Taylor in charge.
