Chelsea will be able to sign new players in January if our appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) is successful.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will hear Chelsea’s appeal on November 20.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has admitted he is very interested in the appeal as it will affect Chelsea’s plan for January.
Lampard told reporters: “Well, I’ll be very interested of course but it is a legal matter and I don’t know enough of the legals to even delve. But of course, I’m interested because it’s obviously going to affect potentially what we can do in January or not.”
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are interested in signing a striker, winger, left-back and centre-back.
The report claims the Blues will push to sign winger Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund, striker Moussa Dembele of Lyon, winger Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace, left-back Ben Chilwell of Leicester City and centre-back Nathan Ake of Bournemouth.
Chelsea will reportedly have more than £150m to spend on potential signings.
