Chelsea are flying high this season, and the Blues have bounced back from a slow start in the Premier League and Champions League and are currently performing well in both competitions.

For Frank Lampard, it’s a rebuilding process with his young Chelsea team, but Lampard’s former teammate Shaun Wright-Phillips even has more faith than the Chelsea boss.

Wright-Phillips has seen enough to predict that the Blues can go on to win the league and even win the Champions League this season.

“With the way that Chelsea have started the season, the sky is the limit,” the former Chelsea winger told Sporting Bet. “I do believe that if they can have a strong festive period, there is no reason that they can’t catch up with Liverpool – it is still a long season ahead.

“Saying that, even if they end up finishing in the top four this season, that would still be exceptional. With the new manager coming in and the transfer ban, that would be more than most people would have expected at the start of the season.”

Wright-Phillips added: “Chelsea have the quality to win the Champions League this season. If they get the luck of the draw, they could be in with an outside chance of progressing far in the competition.”

Do you think this Chelsea team can go that far?
