Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has imposed a strict disciplinary code behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge.
There is a list of fines, framed and hung on the wall inside the Chelsea training ground, and the fines include a whopping £20,000 penalty for players who are late for training.
A photograph of Chelsea’s fine list under manager Lampard has been leaked, and Chelsea fans even the media have been surprised at just how strict things are in the Chelsea camp.
Meanwhile, Callum Hudson-Odoi has revealed that the Chelsea players have taken well to the fines and that everyone is disciplined enough within the Chelsea camp.
“To be fair, we have a couple of fines where it’s pretty strict and we have to stick by it,” the 19-year-old said, as quoted by talkSPORT.
“But even if there weren’t fines, we would still be on point. All of us are very on time with everything that we do.
“We’re very positive about everything we do. If there is a fine, we will pay it. For the fines, we don’t really look into it because we are always on time for what we do so it’s OK. It’s there but we’re all good about it.”
