Chelsea players took their club form to their countries and there were lots of positive results for most of the Chelsea players on international duty.

Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri played the entire game as Italy defeated Bosnia & Herzegovina 3-0 in Zenica. The Italians had already confirmed qualification to Euro 2020 as Group J winners prior to tonight’s fixture.

There was a big win for Andreas Christensen and Denmark as they secured their place at Euro 2020 after dismantling Gibraltar 6-0 in their latest Group D qualifier. Christensen came on as a late substitute.

Kepa Arrizabalaga was an unused substitute as Spain defeated Malta 7-0 in Cadiz, with David de Gea in goal. Spain had already qualified for next summer’s tournament prior to tonight’s fixture.

Meanwhile, Willian was on the losing side as the Selecao were beaten 1-0 by Argentina in a friendly fixture in Saudi Arabia, and Willian featured for just over 70 minutes. Lionel Messi scored the only goal of the game on his international return, while Gabriel Jesus missed a penalty for Brazil.

Olivier Giroud scored the second goal for France as they came from behind to beat Moldova on Thursday night. Tammy also scored his first international goal in England’s 7-0 win over Montenegro. Mason Mount started in the historic 1000th game for the Three Lions.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
