One of N’Golo Kante’s former advisers, Rachid Saadna, has admitted he threatened the Chelsea midfielder with a gun in March 2017 over a commission.
According to French media outlet Get French Football News, the agent has claimed he brought his brother, who he claimed may have had a gun to the meeting with Kante.
Kante moved to Chelsea from Leicester back in July 2016 for a fee of around £32m and it appears there was an agreement between Kante and his agent after the transfer.
However, in an interview with Mediapart (h/t Ingle), Kante denied the threats but did acknowledge a meeting took place with the Saadna brothers:
“I find your question tendentious. I am a football professional, I do not live in a world of thugs. You take me for an immature person. Know that I am responsible, I make my choices freely and in conscience.”
Kante has overcome his recent struggles with injury and has played the last three games for Chelsea.
