Since signing up former Chelsea Belgian duo Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard, Spanish giants Real Madrid have been strongly interested in Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
Kante joined Chelsea in 2016 after being a key part of Claudio Ranieri’s title winning side. The Frenchman has helped Chelsea to win one Premier League title since joining the Blues, and he has now hinted that he isn’t interested in leaving Chelsea anytime soon.
Kante has now revealed that he loves the project at the club and also loves the city of London, citing them as the two major reasons he doesn’t want to leave Chelsea.
Speaking to L’Equipe about his life at the club, the Frenchman said: “The tranquility of London that has inspired me to extend until 2023.
“It is also for this reason. I feel good in the city but especially in the club: they enrolled me in a beautiful project when I arrived.
“It’s been three years that I’m here, I’m doing beautiful things and that’s what inspired me to join an even longer project.”
