Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has been out of action for a month now due to injury. The 28-year-old has been battling injury since the end of last season and Chelsea have had to cope in his absence.
Kante is now back from injury and is set to feature in this weekend’s clash, and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has hailed the Frenchman as a world-class player he has admired even before he became the manager of Chelsea.
Lampard told talkSPORT: “He’s a fantastic player and he’s one of those I was so excited to work with when I came in because as a Chelsea fan I’ve admired him from afar.
“I’ll need him no doubt. He’s world class and I’ll need a squad. His attributes we all know and we can’t talk them down just because we’re in a good moment at the minute.
“It’s brilliant for us he’s back. We’ve had to be a bit careful with him because he’s had a difficult start to the season.
“Little niggles he’s been used a lot in the last four years to amazing effect but it was time to just take a little bit of a back step.
“Now we have him looking good and he’s going to be massive for us.”
