Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League after 12 round of matches, and their recent win over Manchester City further increased their grip in the title race.
Liverpool are nine points clear of rivals Manchester City following their 3-1 win on Sunday, while Leicester City and Chelsea are in 2nd and 3rd place and are eight points behind Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Liverpool fullback Andy Robertson remains adamant Manchester City are Liverpool’s biggest title rivals despite Pep Guardiola’s men sitting in fourth spot.
Robertson told Liverpool’s official website: “Massive for us. A big game against our closest rivals from last year.
“Both of us were in a league of their own last year and it looks as if there’s going to be a couple of others sniffing about this year. But I still believe if you finish above Man City then I think you’ll get the title.
“It’s a massive win for us and it’s just another one that we’ve got to tick off. There’s still a long, long way to go, but it’s always nice to beat your rivals.”
