Ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium this weekend, Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has returned to training.
Ederson suffered a thigh injury in Manchester City’s Champions League game against Atalanta early this month, which made him miss City’s 3-1 loss to Liverpool.
Ederson trained on Tuesday with players that have not been fully involved on international duty.
Ederson’s return will be a big boost to Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola ahead of the game against Chelsea after City backup goalkeeper Claudio Bravo was criticised for two of the three goals City conceded against Liverpool before the international break.
