Mason Mount has assured a young fan that he will hand his jersey following England’s 7-0 win over Montenegro on Thursday night.

According to The Sun, the young England fan had bumped into the Chelsea star earlier in the day as the Three Lions squad relaxed at their hotel in the hours before kick-off.

However, the young fan was disappointed to see he was right at the back of the stand, a huge distance from the pitch.

The little boy carried a banner to the stadium, but it wouldn’t be seen by Mount or any English player. So his mum Keeley Brookes decided to launch one final attempt to help her little son reach Mount.

She took a picture of him holding the banner high above his head and posted a message on Twitter in the hope the player would notice. Mount has now taken note of the post and has agreed to give the young fan a signed jersey.

Mount wrote: “Hey Keeley, I would love to send your son a signed shirt!

“Please message me and I’ll get that sorted… and thanks for the support!”

Nice one, Mount.
