It was a dominant performance from Chelsea as the Blues were in total control of the game from start to finish and got the three points courtesy of goals from Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic.

See the player ratings below

Kepa: Barely had anything to do all game as he wasn’t threatened by Palace. His passing out today was a bit suspect. 6/10

Reece James: Came up against the experienced and tricky Wilfried Zaha for his first Premier League start and he performed very well, keeping the winger silent all game. 8/10

Zouma: Solid game in defence as he coped with everything that came his way. Comfortable evening for the Frenchman, and his confidence is ever increasing as well as his ability to pass the ball. 7.5/10

Tomori:  Good game at the back as the Chelsea defence wasn’t threatened. 7/10

Emerson: Good game as he got the left flank to support the attack. 7/10

Kante: Good way to come back as he brought steel to the Chelsea midfield. His passing was okay too. 7/10

Kovacic: Took the mantle from Jorginho to distribute the ball and did well doing that. Was the driving force from midfield. Had a good run in the build-up to Abraham’s goal. 8/10

Mount: Started the game brightly as he combined well with Pulisic and won some fouls in dangerous areas for the team. Faded off a bit as the game wore on. 6/10

Pulisic: Was a constant threat all through the game and always looked to make things happen whenever he was on the ball. Scored the second goal with a good header. 8/10

Willian: Wore the captain armband today and led by example with his work rate. Palace found it hard to cope with his runs and his pass for the opener was sublime. 7.5/10

Abraham: Lacked service in the first-half, but made sure he took his chance when it came his way after the break. 7/10

Pulisic: Made a good impact in the game to assist Pulisic and looked very dangerous after coming on. 6/10

Hudson-Odoi: Looked lively after coming on and had one run where he almost got a goal from. 6/10

Gilmour: Was a very late substitute for Mason Mount.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
