It was an end to end encounter between Chelsea and Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium, and Chelsea got a point at the end of the game.

Chelsea now need to beat Lille in our final group game to seal qualification for the next round of the competition.

See how the players fared in this game

Kepa: Made an excellent save to deny Maxi Gomez, and also made a good save to deny the home side from the penalty. However, he looked jittery at times and made some defensive errors. Should have done better for the first goal conceded. 5/10

Christensen: The Chelsea defence looked all over the place at times and the Dane wasn’t too comfortable. 5/10

Zouma: Didn’t seem to have a good connection with Christensen as the Chelsea defence looked all over the place. 6/10

Reece James: Started his first Champions League game and put in some superb crosses. Was also strong defensively. 7/10

Azpilicueta: Started in the left-back position and was solid at the back. However, his offensive approach was a bit laid back. 6.5/10

Kante: Worked very hard in the middle of the park for Chelsea and was at the heart of everything the team did. 7.5/10

Jorginho: Wasn’t at his best tonight as he couldn’t control the game as he’d have liked. 6/10

Kovacic: Scored a massive goal to level the scores for Chelsea and was brilliant on the ball. Looked very tired late in the game. 7.5/10

Pulisic: Looked very dangerous when going forward and scored the second goal for Chelsea. Got tired late in the second half as Chelsea suffered a Valencia onslaught. 7/10

Willian: Missed a good chance early in the game. Improved in the second-half after a somewhat first-half. Lost his tempo and didn’t have the best of game. 6/10

Tammy Abraham: Lasted only the first half but had to be subbed off due to injury. His impact was missed in the second half. 6/10

Subs

Batshuayi: Came on for Abraham but didn’t impact the game. 4/10

Emerson: Came on as a left wing-back as Chelsea switched to a 3-4-3 system. Didn’t affect the game much. 5/10

Mount: Came on late for Willian and brought a bit more life but didn’t do much. 6/10

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
