Chelsea defeated Watford 2-1 at the Vicarage Road on Saturday evening and one major highlight from the game was how Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga made an outstanding save from his opposite number Ben Foster right at the end of the game to preserve the three points for Chelsea.

Kepa’s world-class save was the last action of the game and it drew celebrations from the Chelsea players around him.

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has hailed Kepa for his save that won Chelsea the game.

“He [Kepa] is unbelievable and he was there when we needed him most so we are all happy,” said Pulisic.

“It was closer than it needed to be. We were unfortunate with the penalty, we were really dominating the second half but Watford put up a good fight at the end.”

Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta has blamed Chelsea’s missed chances as the reason for the scare against Watford, insisting that the team should have put the game beyond Watford’s reach before the late drama.

“We dominated,” he said. “It was our fault not to score more goals. We had the chance to score and be more clinical. We know that especially in the Premier League when you are 2-0 up you have to suffer until the end. It’s one for us to be more clinical and close games out.”
