Christian Pulisic had a good game yet again as he scored his fourth Premier League goal of the season in the 2-1 win against Watford.

Tammy Abraham opened the scoring for Chelsea as he latched on to a sublime pass from Jorginho to beat Ben Foster just after five minutes of play.

Despite Chelsea’s dominance in the game, the Blues couldn’t beat a resilient Ben Foster as the first-half ended 1-0.Ten minutes after the restart, Tammy Abraham turned provider as he played a pass across Watford goal and Pulisic was at the right place and at the right time to beat Foster and score the second for the Blues.

A VAR decision changed the outlook of the game late on as Jorginho was adjudged to have fouled Gerard Deulofeu late in the game. Deulofeu’s goal changed the outlook of the game as Chelsea ended the game feeling nervy.

Speaking after the match, Christian Pulisic revealed that the decision to give Watford a penalty was a soft one and he also hailed his own performance and that of the team.

“Those last five or 10 minutes felt like a really long time,” Pulisic said. “In the second half we felt like we were dominating.

“We needed to get a third to put the game away but then we gave away a soft penalty in my opinion.

“I want to make an impact for the team and I am enjoying it a lot. I want to prove every week that I deserve to be in the starting line-up.”
