Chelsea assistant manager Jody Morris had mocked former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho over his latest Chelsea comments.
Appearing as a pundit on Sky Sports after Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace, Mourinho claimed he had concerns about Chelsea despite the form of Frank Lampard’s side.
“In the first weekend I was worried and I’m still worried with the big matches,” Mourinho said on Sky Sports.
Taking to Twitter, Morris quote-tweeted a video of Mourinho’s latest comments on Chelsea and wrote, “Jose is still worried” alongside a trio of crying-face emojis.
Reports now claim that Chelsea are unhappy with Lampard’s assistant for his action and he has been warned by the club of his future social media conduct after the Blues coach trolled Jose Mourinho.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea were massively unimpressed with Morris’ dig at Mourinho, feeling they were ‘unbecoming and inappropriate’ from a senior member of Lampard’s staff.
The report claims Morris has been issued with a warning and told to show more ‘restraint’ in the future when it comes to responding to criticism.
