Premier League is nearly a third of the way through the season and every Premier League club has been assessed with a grade from A to F.

Chelsea have been given a grade of A for our season so far under Frank Lampard. Only Liverpool (A+) and Leicester City (A+) received a better rating than Chelsea in the Premier League report card.

Arsenal received a grade of D-, Manchester City a grade of D+, Manchester United a grade of D- and Tottenham a grade of F.

Explaining Chelsea’s grade of A, the Blues were praised for exceeding expectation under Lampard this season.

Daily Mail wrote: “A transfer ban plus a new manager with no Premier League experience is not a recipe for success. But Lampard’s legendary status within the club has helped get the Blues firing and his young side have eyes on an unlikely title chase, never mind just securing the primary target of the top four.”
