Tammy Abraham is having a wonderful season for both club and country as he scored his first ever England goal in the 7-0 win against Montenegro on Thursday.
Tammy Abraham in an interview with ’90 seconds with’, an exclusive feature on Chelsea’s app the 5th Stand, was asked to choose between the World Cup final and the Champions League final. The 22-year-old admitted that it’s a tough call, but went on to reveal that he wants to win the Champions League this season since the Blues are in the competition.
“It’s a tough one but if I could play in any live sporting event, I’d have to say either the World Cup or the Champions League final,” said Tammy.
“Obviously we are in the Champions League this season and we have the chance to do well, so if we could go all the way to the final then it really would be a dream for me and everyone else.”
Revealing his targets for the season, Abraham hopes to finish in the top two this season with Chelsea and be part of England’s squad at the Euros. He also believes England can win the Euros.
“Hopefully, hopefully, I don’t want to jinx myself but I believe so [England can win a trophy],” Abraham said.
“My dream? Probably being at the Euros, winning it, finishing in the top four or even the top two in the Premier League with Chelsea. Just believing! The sky really is the limit.”
