Fikayo Tomori has been part of England’s last two squads but he is yet to make his international debut.
The Chelsea defender was also eligible to play for Nigeria as he was born to Nigerian parents.
Before accepting England’s call-up, there were reports Nigeria wanted the Chelsea defender in their squad.
Tomori has revealed he had no contact with Nigeria prior to accepting Gareth Southgate’s call.
“England called me up in September, and I didn’t get a call up from anyone and when they called me up, it was hard to say no to them (England),” Tomori said, according to Nigerian media outlet The Nation.
