Chelsea stars Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic are fourth and third respectively in this week’s Premier League Power Rankings.
Pulisic climbed to third from eight last week after an impressive performance against Crystal Palace while Abraham dropped to fourth from third last week despite his goal against Crystal Palace.
On Abraham being fourth on this week’s Power Rankings, Daily Mail wrote: “The ‘curse’ of Chelsea strikers wearing the No 9 shirt is being banished every passing week that Tammy Abraham plays.
“The 22-year-old is now into double figures for Premier League goals this season already after grabbing his 10th in the Blues’ 2-0 win at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday. He took his chance clinically on 52 minutes and only Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy (11) has more top-flight goals this term.
“It’s harsh on the England international to drop a place in our Power Rankings, but that’s only because of the form of one of his club team-mates (Pulisic).”
On Pulisic being third, Daily Mail wrote: “After a difficult early start to his Chelsea career, the forward seems right at home now.
“The 21-year-old caused countless problems for Palace’s rearguard before completing the win with a flying close-range header on 79 minutes.
“He now has five goals in his last three league games.”
