Valencia boss Albert Celades seems to be worried about the threat of this Frank Lampard’s Chelsea.

Chelsea’s form in recent weeks have been outstanding and Celades has acknowledged that his side must be at their best to beat Chelsea.

Celades has hailed Blues boss Frank Lampard ahead of Wednesday’s meeting at the Metalla Stadium.

He said: “Frank Lampard was a big player and he started his (coaching) career last year at Derby County and he did very, very well.

“That season was a big opportunity to arrive to Chelsea, be at a big level in the Premier League and the Champions League. Chelsea is a big team, with big players and a big coach. Tomorrow will be a difficult game.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has revealed that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is happy with the work that Frank Lampard is doing at Chelsea.

“The transfer ban has led to more opportunities for the young players,” Buck told The Guardian.

“I can’t deny that if there wasn’t a transfer ban we might have splurged out on one or two or three players.

“So, yes, it was some of that; it was Frank Lampard, the players that were ready, a whole collection of things that resulted in where we are now.
