A win for Chelsea with at least two goals for the Blues would seal qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League for Chelsea.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard travelled to Spain for the game against Valencia with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Marcos Alonso, Ross Barkley and Antonio Rudiger not part of the travelling party.

Rudiger has only featured once in the Premier League this season and has recently undergone surgery on a pelvic problem.

Hudson-Odoi has a hamstring problem while Barkley is struggling with an ankle problem. Alonso hasn’t featured for Chelsea since his struggles in the 4-4 draw against Ajax.

Chelsea played a 4-3-3 formation against Manchester City on Saturday and Lampard is expected to stick with the formation for the game against Valencia.

Lampard is expected to make one change for the game against Valencia with Emerson dropping to the bench for Reece James who should start at right-back and Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back.

Chelsea predicted line-up vs Valencia: (4-3-3): Arrizabalaga, James, Zouma, Tomori, Azpilicueta; Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic; Willian, Pulisic, Abraham.
