Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday thanks to goals from Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic.

Asked if he was satisfied with Chelsea’s performance against Crystal Palace, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard said: “Yeah.

“Every game in the Premier League is hard, particularly against a team as organised as Palace.

“I thought we started the first half really well. A goal would probably have put us in a really good position. We didn’t get it, we allowed the tempo to drop slightly towards the end of the half but when we came out in the second half with the intent that we did and the extra 10% of urgency in our game, we won the game.

“I say comfortably, the two goals were relatively comfortable but there could have probably been more with a bit more end product but it was a nice solid win with a clean sheet.”
