West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is under pressure after West Ham’s disastrous run of form but he insists he’s working to beat Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Pellegrini’s side are just three points adrift of the relegation zone after a poor run of form which has seen them fail to get a win in seven games ahead of Saturday’s London derby.
Ahead of Saturday’s London derby at Stamford Bridge, Pellegrini shrugged off speculation about his future and insisted he’s working hard to beat Chelsea.
“We never talk about the future,” he said.
“You must be clear, it is game by game. It is the same question asked when we were winning. Football changes every game so we are working to beat Chelsea and improve. I always think about the present, never the future.”
