Following our 4-4 draw against Ajax on Tuesday, the Blues have 7 points alongside Ajax and Valencia, who will play next away in Spain.

Lille can no longer qualify for the knockout stage of this season’s Champions League even if the French club win their remaining two Champions League games.

Our 4-4 draw with Ajax means the Blues have the better record in head-to-head results against Ajax in this group, meaning should we end the group stage on the same points as the Dutch side, we would be placed above them in the table regardless of overall goal difference.

Chelsea can seal qualification in matchday 5 if we beat Valencia by at least two goals. Such a result would ensure Valencia at best would tie with Chelsea on points but would not beat us on the head-to-head.

A draw against Valencia will leave qualification in our hands heading into our last game against Lille at home.

Who will miss out on qualification to the Champions League knockout stage, Chelsea, Ajax or Valencia?
