Two of the four goals conceded against Ajax on Tuesday night was from set-pieces.
The Athletic’s Liam Twomey has revealed what Chelsea must do to prevent goals from corners and free-kicks.
“Chelsea are not the tallest side which means that in order to prevent goals from corners and free-kicks, they must prevent corners and free-kicks in the first place,” Twomey wrote in The Athletic.
“That’s where the problem lied against Ajax: they gave up 7 corners and four free-kicks from crossing positions in the first half alone which directly led to two of the Dutch side’s goal.”
