Chelsea started brightly against Manchester City and took a well deserved lead through France international N’Golo Kante.

Sensing Chelsea’s control over the game, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola quickly called Kevin De Bruyne over to him during the break in play after Chelsea took the lead and gave the Belgian some instructions as he seeked to take control of the game from Chelsea, according to Manchester Evening News.

Whatever Guardiola told De Bruyne as Chelsea celebrated Kante’s goal worked as the Belgian equalised for Manchester City eight minutes later with Riyad Mahrez scoring City’s winner eight minutes before halftime.
