Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is reportedly interested in signing Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell in January if the transfer ban is lifted by CAS.
Chilwell is seen as a longterm replacement for Marcos Alonso at left-back.
According to Standard Sport, Leicester City are determined to reject any attempt from Chelsea to sign Chilwell in January.
Leicester City reportedly value Chilwell in excess of £60million and are in a strong negotiating position given Chilwell is already tied to the club until 2024 having signed a contract extension in October last year.
Standard Sport also claim Leicester City have opened talks with Chilwell over a fresh deal which would take his wages beyond £100,000 a week, partly in recognition of his rise to prominence at international level and also to stave interest from Chelsea.
Manchester City are also believed to be keeping tabs on the 22 year old left-back.
