Wilfried Zaha tried by all means to make an impact in the game against Chelsea, but the Crystal Palace winger was quiet for majority of the game after Chelsea youngster Reece James got the better of him all game long.

After the game, as Zaha made his way home in the back of a Rolls Royce, he was taunted by Chelsea fans who mocked him with how Reece James got the better of him.

“What happened today? Reece James, Reece James in the pocket,” yelled one fan at Zaha’s car repeatedly, referencing the right-back’s handling of Zaha.

Someone in the backseat, allegedly Zaha, appeared to respond by shouting: “I’ve got your f***ing mum in my pocket!”

It was Reece James first ever Premier League start, and the 19-year-old put in a very good performance.

Former Chelsea star Joe Cole expressed his shock at how Reece James got the better of Zaha on Saturday afternoon at Stamford Bridge.

Working as a pundit for BT Sport, Joe Cole said: “I’m disappointed with Zaha today. Reece James has got in his head.

“He’s let a young full-back dominate him. This Zaha five minutes ago was saying he wanted a move to the big clubs.

“He said he wanted to go and play for this club, that club. Reece James has come on his debut, got in his head and a player of his quality letting the ball under his feet.

“I think credit to Reece James but Wilf Zaha needs to show more if he wants to make that next step.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
