Serie A club AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud in January, according to Caughtoffside.
Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, now manager of Inter Milan, is keen on signing Giroud in January as backup to Romelu Lukaku but AC Milan have now been offered the chance to enter the race.
Giroud is out of favour in Frank Lampard’s first-team plans at the moment and wants out of Stamford Bridge this winter.
Giroud is keen for more first-team football ahead of Euro 2020 next summer. The game against West Ham on Saturday was his first start for the club since August 18.
