Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta has sent a rallying cry to Chelsea fans and players, urging for solidarity in order to turn around Chelsea’s poor form.
Chelsea’s recent league form of four defeats in the last six games have been disheartening, and it’s even worse at home, as the Blues have now lost back to back home games.
Azpilicueta has urged for everyone to put their acts together and get things right when the new year starts.
“It’s true that teams see we’re not winning games here. They come with more confidence,” the Chelsea captain said.
“Forget tactics, we need to recover respect at home because it’s not normal to lose so many games in your stadium. When the new year starts we have to be ready from the first second. We have to win games.
“They could see we lost to West Ham and Bournemouth so were confident. It’s up to us. When you play here it is not about the rival, it’s about yourself, about moving the ball quick, about finding the space to create chances and to give the fans a lift.
“For all of us, from fans to the players, to get in the right mood by winning games and playing good football.”
