Chelsea have been drawn to face Bayern Munich in the second round of the Champions League, and the Blues must be at their best against the German champions if they want to reach the last eight.
Bayern defender Jerome Boateng has sent a message to his fellow Germany International Antonio Rudiger ahead of the clash.
“See you soon bro @ToniRuediger,” Boateng wrote on twitter.
The two international teammates will become opponents when both sides meet in February and March.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller says he is already aware of the threat posed by Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic ahead of Bayern Munich’s Champions League clash with Chelsea.
“With Chelsea, I haven’t seen a lot of them besides their results, but it doesn’t seem to be going so well at the moment,” Muller said.
“But of course they have players in their attack who can hurt us.
“Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic have qualities but football is not about individuals, it’s about team performance.
“We are relatively confident, I feel pretty good with the draw.
“You [the German media] have already planted Bayern as the favourite, I like that, that’s exactly what we want.”
