Chelsea have been strongly linked with Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha since the Blues transfer ban was lifted.

Zaha is the main man for Palace and is highly rated in the Premier League. However, Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher doesn’t see Zaha as a good fit for Chelsea.

According to Carragher, Chelsea don’t need the Ivorian international and that the club have enough players in that position.

“No, I’m not really sure about that one,” Carragher told Sky Sports Christmas.

“I think Chelsea have more than enough in wide positions.

“They’ve got Hudson-Odoi, [Christian] Pulisic is there as well. I know they’ve still got a couple of older players in as well like Willian.

“Sometimes they can also play Mason Mount from the side.

“I think it would block Hudson-Odoi if Zaha came in as well. I don’t really think they need that type of player.”

Chelsea have also been linked with the likes of Erling Haaland, Ben Chilwell and Jadon Sancho. And according to reports, the Chelsea boss has a transfer budget of £150m.
