Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta will be eyeing a new Chelsea record when Bournemouth visit Stamford Bridge this weekend.
If selected against Bournemouth, Azpilicueta will make his 250th Premier League appearance for the club. He will become the first Spanish player to reach this landmark for Chelsea.
He will also become the seventh overall to reach that landmark for Chelsea, behind John Terry 492, Frank Lampard 429, Petr Cech 333, Branislav Ivanovic 261, Dennis Wise 261 and Didier Drogba 254.
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is also hoping to set a record against Bournemouth.
Abraham can become the first Englishman to score in three consecutive Premier League home matches for Chelsea since Frank Lampard in August 2010 if he scores against Bournemouth on Saturday.
Abraham has scored in his last two home appearances for the Blues, the 2-1 victory over Aston Villa and the 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace. He missed the 1-0 defeat to West Ham.
