According to Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho, who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich.
Coutinho is spending the season on loan at Bayern Munich and the German club have the option to sign him on a permanent deal but are yet to make a decision on Coutinho’s future.
It is believed Bayern Munich won’t make the winger’s loan spell permanent at the end of the campaign, forcing him to return to Camp Nou.
Chelsea were linked to the Barcelona star before the summer’s transfer window but were unable to make a move for the Brazilian due to the transfer ban on the club.
Chelsea are reportedly willing to sign Coutinho next summer after his loan spell at Bayern Munich if the Germans fail to take up their option to sign him.
