Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Norwegian teenager Bryan Fiabema, according to Goal.
The 16-year-old forward, who has represented Norway at Under-17 level, will move to west London from Tromso, with whom he made his professional debut in July against FK Haugesund.
He impressed Chelsea coaches during a trial at the club alongside compatriot Christos Zafeiris, who currently plays for Valerenga.
It is unknown whether Zafeiris will be signed, but the Blues have reached an agreement with Fiabema and he will join Chelsea when the transfer window opens in January.
Fiabema will join the club’s academy system and work under coaches Andy Myers and Ed Brand.
What exactly was the reason for the transfer, if a 16 year old can legally be signed?
