Chelsea were missing in the competition last season, but the Blues have managed to seal a place in the knockout stage of this season’s competition.

Christian Pulisic has been a key player for Chelsea this season and the American superstar has revealed his excitement to get to the knockout stage of the Champions League and believes that Chelsea can compete against the best.

“It’s an amazing thing to go straight to the knockout stages,” Pulisic said.

“We’re a confident bunch of guys and we feel we can go up against anyone so we’re really excited for the next round because the knockout stages of the Champions League is where you want to play.”

Frank Lampard’s side has been accused of failing to perform against the big teams in the Premier League, and now Chelsea will need Pulisic and his teammates to be at their best now that Chelsea are in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
