When you hear the names Raheem Sterling and Mohamed Salah, those are two names that have dominated the Premier League in recent years, and to be linked with those names is a proof of how far you have come.
Meanwhile, football reporter Liam Twomey has hailed the emergence of Chelsea star Christian Pulisic in his article for The Athletic and predicts that the 21-year-old can reach the heights of Sterling and Salah – two giants for Manchester City and Liverpool.
Twomey tweeted: “It’s been fun to watch Pulisic’s rapid rise in recent weeks. He can get much more clinical, but the way he’s being used is reminiscent of Sterling at City or Salah at Liverpool.”
Pulisic had initially struggled to get into this Chelsea team at the start of the season, but he’s now a massive player for the club.
Christian Pulisic might not have gotten on the scoresheet or gotten an assist against Aston Villa, but the young American was impressive in our 2-1 win over Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was full of praise for the winger.
Lampard said: “He is playing really well. He can score more, we have a player in Christian who is someone who is really exciting us but when you see this type of player, you see another level which is goals and assists and he has the ability to go on to that extra level which is the top level of world football.
“At the moment he is doing really well and hopefully that will be the next part of the progression.”
