Chelsea have been linked with Dinamo Zagreb attacking midfielder Dani Olmo, with the Blues keen on strengthening the squad in January.

Interestingly, the 21-year-old has now revealed that his time at Zagreb is up as he’s ready to quit the Croatian champions to take the next step in his promising career.

“Last summer was an ideal time to take a next step,” the 21-year-old told Jugones. “In the end, it did not happen and I said that I was equally happy because I wanted to play Champions League.

“But I think my cycle there is over and I want to take the next step to continue improving.”

Olmo has been very impressive this season as he has scored 8 goals and set up 7 goals in 22 games across all competitions. He has shown that he can play in the big leagues by scoring 2 goals and one assist in six Champions League appearances.
