Chelsea Under-18s climbed to the top of their Premier League table over the weekend after beating Swansea U18 8-0.
It didn’t take five minutes of action as George Nunn scored the opener for Chelsea. Chelsea’s next goal however came in the second half as Myles Peart-Harris scored a brace on the 48th and 55th minute.
In-between Pearl-Harris brace, Joe Haigh scored a 52nd minute goal. Haigh got his brace in the 52nd minute. Dion Rankine made it 6-0 on the 82nd minute, with Haigh completing his hat-trick two minutes later.
Lewis Bate scored the final goal on the 88th minute from the penalty spot after Simons was tripped by a Swansea defender as he raced through on goal.
Following the victory, Chelsea now lead the table overtaking closest rivals Fulham who they lead by a point.
