Olivier Giroud’s Chelsea days are slowly coming to and, as the Frenchman could leave the club in January.
Giroud has been linked with a January transfer move, with Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte believed to be interested in the 33-year-old and there hasn’t been a shortage of interest in the World Cup winner.
Giroud has had playing time hard to get under Frank Lampard and he has admitted that he could leave the club in January and possibly return back to France.
“For the moment I am a Chelsea player,” Olivier Giroud said in an interview with French news outlet Dauphine Libere.
“I still have a few games to play with this club before the transfer market opens.
“Then we will sit around a table and make the best decision for me.
“A return to France is one of the possible solutions.”
Giroud’s contract at Chelsea will wind up at the end of the season.
