Chelsea reportedly ruined Arsenal’s plans to sign Harry Maguire, Wilfried Zaha and Thomas Partey during the summer transfer window.

According to The Athletic, Arsenal’s loss to Chelsea in the Europa League final, meant Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champions League, drastically reducing the pot of cash available for transfers.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have been handed a boost in the race to sign Zaha ahead of the January transfer window.

According to The Sun, Crystal Palace are already preparing for life with Zaha and have now identified a potential replacement for the Ivorian international.

The Eagles have put Burnley winger Dwight McNeil at the top of their wishlist to replace Wilfried Zaha. Crystal Palace are ready to launch a £20million bid for McNeil when the transfer window re-opens in January.
