Following Chelsea’s progression to the last-16 of the Champions League after the 2-1 win over Lille on Tuesday, Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has urged his teammates to believe the Blues can achieve something great this season.

Kante told UEFA.com: “It’s great for the young players and it’s great for the rest of us to play against big teams.

“We need to believe we can achieve something great.”

Kante added: It is important to us, it was our target to do well in the Champions League.

“We knew that today was a big game for the rest of the season so this is a good target for us.”
